Living with it
Will it look like too much on a normal night?
No. Most customers run a soft white most nights. Color is there when you want it, not when you don't.
Can I control the front of my home separately from the back?
Yes. Zoning lets you turn on only certain sections, or run different patterns on different parts of the home at the same time.
Can I save timers and schedules?
Yes. Save nightly and weekly timers plus calendar events for holidays. The system links to weather.com, so you can run sunset to sunrise without ever changing the clock.
Can I make my own patterns?
Yes. The lights are individually addressable, so you choose which lights are on and what color, from over 16 million. There are also 102 preset patterns and 20 animation effects.
Will my HOA allow it?
The channel is color-matched and low-profile by design, which is what architectural review boards care about. We give you the product spec sheet and daytime photos for your application.
Does the lighting attract bugs?
Far less than a porch bulb. LEDs put out almost no heat or UV, and warm white attracts fewer insects than cool white. Inside a cage, the screen does the rest.
Is it OK to have lights around a pool?
The lights mount to the aluminum cage frame and run on low voltage; the controller and the power connection sit away from the pool. We design every layout to Florida's pool electrical code.
What happens when I rescreen my cage?
Tell the rescreen crew, or use ours. The lights are on the frame, not the screen, and our sister company Gulf Coast Rescreen works around them every week.
